Summer Camps 2024

We are excited to be offering three themed Kindergarten & Preschool Readiness summer camp sessions! Each week will include different skills and fun activities so we welcome you to sign up for one, two, or ALL THREE weeks as your summer schedule allows. 

 

Spots are limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! Registration forms are available for pick up in the office or for download here. To register, please bring your completed registration forms and payment to the Preschool Office, or you may choose to email the forms to coolpreschool@desertsprings.com. Please call the office at 602.788.5060 for more information and hours of operations.

 

Camps are $175 a week and run Monday through Thursday from 9am to 12pm with an optional extension to 1pm (for an additional $28 per week)*. Sessions run June 10-13, June 17-20, and June 24-27. Kindergarten Readiness summer programming is planned for any child who is planning on entering Kindergarten in the fall. Preschool Readiness is designed for all children that are 3 years old by September 1, 2024 and fully potty trained. Please note summer camp fees are non-refundable.

 

Current or past enrollment at Desert Springs Christian Preschool is NOT required. Children must be fully potty trained to attend camps.

Dramatic Play

Children share their ideas and thoughts as they navigate each new theme in the dramatic play center. Our DSCP Air pilots are building their communication and cooperation skills crucial for future learning.

Fine Motor Skills

As children pinch, scoop, pour and sift. they are developing dexterity and muscle control needed for future writing skills. Messy media station is one of the favorite centers in our classrooms!

Large Group Time

Our teachers present engaging Bible stories, songs, and activities as we gather for large group times. Children have an opportunity too practice public speaking, taking turns, and demonstrating patience as they participate in group activities.
