ENRICHMENT HOUR REGISTRATION
You must sign-up your child in advance to attend Enrichment Hour as teachers prepare materials for each child each day. Please register by Monday by 8:00am of the week your child is planning to attend an Enrichment Hour class.
If the sign up says full, please reach out to the office for a waitlist, or if a spot opened up due to an absence.
Tuesday, September 8 - Art - Squish paint planet Earth and stars
Wednesday, September 9 - Garden Club - God crated all - we will learn about plants and animals
Thursday, September 10 - Music & Movement - Steady Beat - rhythm sticks activity
Friday, September 11 - Physical Education - Fast and Slow - Turtle Tag, Duck, duck goose games

Tuesday, September 15 - Art - God created animals
Wednesday, September 16 - Garden Club - Vegetables - We will read the book "The Ugly Vegetables" by Grace Lin. We will learn about different types of vegetables and seeds
Thursday, September 17 - Music & Movement - Steady Beat - We will work on keeping a steady beat with taps and claps in a close circle. Then we will play a game passing a stuffed animal on the beat. We will get out our rhythm sticks and “make pizzas” working on trying to tap out rhythm.
Friday, September 18 - Physical Education - Move Fast and Slow - Shake your sillies out, Head and Shoulders games

Monday, September 21 - Spanish - We will introduce colors in Espanol. We will read a book "El Chile Es Verde" by Rosanne Greenfield Chong, and practice sorting colored bear counters into buckets. We will work on decorating a rainbow labeled with our Spanish color words to take home.
Tuesday - Art
Wednesday - Garden Club - What do we need for our garden to grow? What shall we plant? We will read the book "The Vegetable Garden." We will plant a bean plant to take home.
Thursday - Music & Movement - Steady beat with our whole body - We will open with a Mixed instrument jam to experiment with different instruments and then we will get out colored spot markers to play a game where we jump on and off the circle spot markers to the beat to get the beat in our whole body.
Friday - Physical Education - Boom Chicka Boom! -If you're happy and you know it, Tooty-Ta, Animal walk and more games

Monday, September 28 - Spanish We will review the colors by playing color Bingo en Espanol, then we will decorate a mariposa (Butterfly) on a stick to use it in playing a game “Mariposa Donde Esta?”
Tuesday - September 29 - Art
Wednesday, September 30 - Garden Club - We will learn about the parts of a plant and read the book "The Tiny Seed" by Eric Carle.
Thursday, October 1 - Staff Meeting - No afternoon programming offered. Kindergarten half-day.
Friday, October 2 - Physical Education - Bowling & Hola Hoops
Please remember by signing your child up for Enrichment Hour you are committing to pay for that hour. We understand that things happen and plans change; however, since Enrichment Hour is curriculum-based, our teachers purchase and create supplies for each of the children that are signed up as of Monday morning of the week the class is scheduled. If registration is showing full, you may contact the office to be put on a waitlist.
